The aim of ARTinRES
is to give viewers
a "behind the scenes" look
at working artists
in order to
de-mystify the creative process,
heighten appreciation for the artistic community's
contribution to our lives,
and to reveal the commitment artists make to their work.

The artists involved have contributed their time and expertise with the knowledge that their messages about the arts will receive the largest audience possible. Copies of an artist's tape are made available to the artist for a nominal fee.

Chris Anderson is the Producer/Director of the AiR series. Chris received a BA and MA in English from Ohio State University and has taught English for the past fifteen years. He is currently an instructor at Columbus State Community College. The AiR series answers his life-long dream to make documentary films.

Mark Knutsen, a consultant for the series, worked for AT&T for fifteen years and has been consulting on networking and marketing issues in the U.S. and abroad for the past several years. Mark lives with his daughter in Atlanta, GA.

Paul Volker is the webmaster for artinres.com and the subject of one the artists in residence titles: Warped Plywood Dreams
